Foods rich with iron

When we don’t get enough iron into our bodies, we can develop anemia that causes a small number of red blood cells, which makes us feel tired and weak.

Here’s what foods abound in iron and which we should include in us as often:

1) Lens

The lens contains iron that is a derivative of vegetable origin and the body finds it more difficult to absorb than that of animals. But nonetheless it is a great source of iron ideal for vegetarians or vegans.

2) Spinach

In addition to iron, spinach is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

3) Beef

Red meat is a great way to improve the level of iron in the blood, as it is easily absorbed by the body.
